estreetplastics.com offers edge polishing and sanding services for our plexiglass and polycarbonate sheet products. Our stock sheet products come with saw cut edges. When the material is cut, the blade leaves small swirl or machine marks on the edges. To remove these marks and smooth out the edges, they need to be sanded or polished. When sanded, the edges will have a some what frosted look to them. To get a smooth and glass look to the edges, an additional step, polishing, is needed. This will give the edge a smooth and elegant look to it.
