HDPE (high density polyethylene) smooth 2 sided natural / white material is one of the most commonly used plastics due to its versatility, durability, and wide range of applications. As the name suggests, HDPE has a high density, which makes it strong and rigid which makes it suitable for applications that require toughness and durability, such as outdoor furniture, playground equipment, and storage containers. HDPE is highly resistant to many chemicals, making it suitable for applications where exposure to corrosive substances is a concern. It's impermeable to water, making it ideal for use in various water-related applications, such as containers and tanks. For DIY projects, it can be cut with carbide-tipped saw blades and drilled with regualr metal bits. It cannot be cemented, but can be welded with a plastic welder.
