Polypropylene Sheets - Natural
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer that is made by combining propylene monomers. It is lightweight and known for its resistance to a wide range of chemicals and acids. Because of these characteristics, polypropylene is often used in applications that demand chemical and corrosion resistance. Polypropylene sheeting provides a good strength to weight ratio, won't break down easily and has a very good resistance to abrasions, making it an excellent choice in many industrial applications. Polypropylene sheets are durable and long-lasting, able to withstand harsh environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
It is also ideally suited for environments where concern for bacteria buildup is present. It is suitable for applications where corrosion, due to exposure to water or humidity, is common. Polypropylene meets FDA regulations and is USDA approved. Because it is considered to have a low toxin make up, polypropylene is often used in food containers.
Natural Polypropylene is not pigmented or colored. It is the natural color of polypropylene, a translucent off white (milky) look.
