Plexiglass Acrylic Mirror is a versatile plastic material that can be used in numerous applications and has great impact strength yet is light weight with exceptional optical quality. Plexiglass acrylic mirror is easy to work with. It can be sawed, drilled, routed, glued, painted, decorated, silk-screened, and formed.
In addition to being light weight, acrylic mirror is ten times stronger than glass. It is an excellent choice when safety is a consideration. Unlike regular glass, acrylic mirror does not shatter into small sharp pieces when broken.
The term acrylic refers to
a synthetic plastic material. Plexiglass, plexi-glass, lucite, acrylite or
acrylic glass is often used to describe acrylic. When spelled Plexiglas®
(spelled with one s), it refers to the Arkema brand name. When spelled as
Plexiglass (spelled with two ss), it is in reference to generic acrylic
sheets. There are several manufacturers of acrylic sheets. The actual brand
we ship out will depend on current stock. Plexiglas® is a registered
trademark of Arkema and is not a brand we typically stock.
We carry several stock sizes that are ready to ship in one to three business days. If you are looking for a custom size sheet, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote. We also carry 1/8" thick acrylic mirror sheets.
