White Plexiglass
Acrylic #2447 is a versatile plastic material that has great impact strength yet is light weight. Plexiglass
acrylic can be used for a number of applications such as signage, glazing, displays, picture framing, aquarium tanks, custom computer cases, and much more. Plexiglass
acrylic is easy to work with. It can be sawed, drilled, routed, glued, painted, decorated, silkscreened, and formed.
We stock 3 types of white plexiglass acrylic.
White #2447 plexiglass acrylic will allow some light through (more than
white #7328 & #3015). White #2447 is often used for applications that need to
be back lit, but which need more light to transmit through the material (for
example: photo light tables, lighted drawing tables, x-ray chart readers,
overhead lights, skylights).
Nominal
1/4" Thick (Actual thickness will be approximately .190" to
.250")
Allow + or - 1/8" tolerance in
width and length. All four edges are saw cut.
This plexiglass acrylic sheet ships with an easily removable
masking.
